Basketball simulation

Translation and support for one of the world’s two largest multilingual basketball simulations for a global player in the video game industry (June 2014 to July 2016)

I was commissioned to translate in-game assets and marketing content such as blog posts, video commentaries and news for the website.

As a former university player and passionate amateur basketball player, I follow the German Basketball League BBL and major NBA games with great interest. I am also an avid spectator at local BBC Bayreuth and Brose Baskets games at the nearby Freak City in Bamberg. My translations naturally benefitted enormously from my basketball knowledge and familiarity with the jargon.
